Ode to LCCB
Ah, the joys of community band.We sit around and play on command.
The flutes sit poised, all quiet and quaint.
If anything goes wrong, one may faint.
The clarinets sit all in a row...
with jokes flying around-to and fro.
The saxes are good, much better than at barbe,
and I'm sure they can tune, which is at least a start. (okay, give me a break. it kind of rhymes)
The horns are the best, of course, of course...
horse horse horse horse horse horse horse(I couldn't think of things with course)
The trumpets are loud, but are actually good,
they play their notes as they know they should.
The trombones are lovely,
The baritones, too,
this is a nice change- it's something new.
The tubas continue to sound the same,
but they aren't bad...there's noone to blame.
We'll wrap up with percussion, the heart of the band...
umm...but the french horns are the best in the land.
*shrugs* I was bored.
