Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
So have you seen Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, yet?I have, I have!! I really really liked it. I guess I'll do what I do best now...complain about things I didn't like.
-All that Dumbledore says the person who wins the Triwizard Tournament will win eternal glory. Okay, okay, that is all good and well...but what about the 1,000 Galleons in prize money? Joke shop for Fred and George? hm hm? Amber and I will be quite angry if the next few directors cut out Fred and George...she loves them and I love their...speaking in unison. or back and forth like in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. ("Wicked!") Yeeeeah...didn't like that.
-Rita Skeeter wasn't caught by Hermione as an unregistered animagus. I know, I know, there is only so much time in the movie and you can't include everything. My point is, if they had enough time to include Rita Skeeter at all, they could have just had Hermione randomly mention to Ron and Harry that she found out how Rita Skeeter was getting information or something. Because that woman was annoying and I don't want to see her anymore.
-This may have been something that only I noticed, but in Mad-Eye Moody's chest, it was supposed to be a bunch of lids with a bunch of keys and there were supposed to be different things in each lid. The chest was cool-looking in the movie, but it only had one actual opening...which the real Mad-Eye Moody was in.
-I didn't like how they cut out Dobby completely...Dobby was supposed to be the one to find the gillyweed for Harry!!
-I did not like the decrease of Snape. I like Snape. He is an important character and they had like...a potions class in the whole movie and the most screen time that Alan Rickman got was punching Ron and Harry. hey, hey, I have an idea. GIVE HIM LINES. yeah, thank you.
that's all I can think of right now. now likes-
-Cedric Diggory [Robert Pattinson] was looking quite pretty. Oh yes, and Harry Potter [Daniel Radcliffe] was, as well. Ron [Rupert Grint] would look pretty if they'd cut his hair a bit...I think.
-I thought that the movie people did the dark mark in the sky really well. It wasn't how I imagined...I imagined something like...made out of stars or something, but it was really cool looking(and creepy...which was perfect).
-I liked the increase of Neville, but then the increase got a bit annoying. I would have liked it more if they had increased screen time for Neville...but not by sacrificing Snape's screen time! ugh.
-I looooooved the opening part of the Quidditch World Cup. Can we say "extremely awesome stadium?" Because it was.
Okay, and because I'm nice...I'm putting links to various things...
Here's a link to the imdb page of it...you can find Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire pictures, trailors, cast list, etc.
Here's a link to J.K. Rowling's homepage...which is really cool to wander around. You can find secrets around the page if you look hard enough. I'll give you one for free...on her desk, there is a cell phone on the upper left-hand corner. Type in "62442"(MAGIC- it's how they reach the Ministry of Magic in the phone booth during book...5, I believe?) and press the green button. I've found a few...
Uh...I would put more, but I really don't feel like it. Do tell your thoughts on the movie...comment!
