Happy day after Mardi Gras! Hope your weekend was nice...your Monday and Tuesday, also.Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were nice...
got to see a couple of the smaller Metairie parades on Friday night(and I got two roses!)
Saturday- saw...Iris and Tucks. Endymion got postponed due to rain.
Sunday- saw Okeanos, Thoth, Mid-City, Bacchus, and Endymion.
Everything was really cool. Bacchus had Michael Keaton as king, but on their big celebrity float thing, they had Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Willy Nelson...and some other people. Endymion had Dan Akroyd and Jim Belushi. They may have had more people...everything was very fast. oh well.
Went to Lake Charles on Monday morning, had an eye appointment, ran errands around the city, etc. Same thing with Tuesday. On Tuesday, I also went geocaching around the city with Kevin. It was okay. We found 2. We decided to bring a machete to cut down tree growth next time we go geocaching around Lake Charles because people decided that it would be funny to hide them in the middle of woods. Hooray.
I am now back at LSU. No labs this week, yay!! so I have Biology tomorrow at 4:30, then 3 classes on Friday (and work both days)...but then that's it.
I'm going because I can't think of anything else to write. bye,
