so yeah
Last week was midterm week, but I (for some strange reason) have a midterm tomorrow. In Biology lab. I really don't see why this class is difficult, but the quizzes are...for some stupid reason that I just don't understand.Anyway, go to facebook and look at the album of pictures that Amber and I took of ourselves. In case you have been living under a rock for the past...7 months, Amber is my roomate. whoo.
I'm going home this weekend to get an MRI on Friday. (SCARY) My eyes are being weird and I'm seeing double-vision, so I went to an eye doctor a couple of weeks ago and he said, "go to this doctor in New Orleans" because it was some strange problem. So mom is like, "okay, I'll make an appointment." Well, last week, Dad calls me and says, "Why didn't you tell me you were seeing double-vision and that your eyes weren't tracking right?" So I truthfully said, "...I forgot?" and he went, "Have you been having any headaches?" [which basically translates to- you might have a brain tumor, but I'm not going to say that] and I said, "no." So he went, "okay, well, I'm scheduling you for an MRI anyway." so...yeah. So I'm going to go to my story the precedes all of this now...
A few months ago, I called my mom and said, "my eyes aren't tracking right" and she goes, "okay." (wasn't listening/didn't care) So I was at home during Christmas and she goes, "your eyes look strange" and I go, "I KNOW! I TOLD YOU THIS TWO MONTHS AGO" and she goes, "oh...I wasn't listening," or something to that effect. Kevin told me that I also told my dad sometime(I don't remember this...but I have the worst memory ever) and my dad said, "oh, that's weird." I like how they only listen when one of them notices the problem. So we went to the eye doctor and I happened to say that I read with one eye closed and I have been doing that for like two years. The doctor said that isn't really common, but I'm finding a way to not have double vision and it works...but he still wants this other doctor in New Orleans to check it out.
those crazy doctors. (just kidding.)
So...I know those stories didn't flow so well. How about this? My eyes are being weird and nobody cared when I told them until my mom noticed. Now both of my parents are worried(sort of) and are sending me to doctors. (Fortunately, I like eye doctors because it is highly doubtful that I will get a shot visiting one of them.)
So...I will be in Lake Charles Friday evening, stay with Amber in Nederland on Friday night (and go to the Heritage Festival...yay for food!), go back to Lake Charles midday Saturday...then come back to Baton Rouge on Sunday.
So...that's it. Bye,
-Meredith
